PRINCIPAL AND CHIEF CLIENT ADVISOR- JOHN SHEEHAN Jr., CPA

John joined Lakkis CPA as a principal after 7 years as a manager of tax and consulting at Deleon and Stang.  After graduating from Shepherd University, John started his career at Yount, Hyde & Barbour, and then moved to Thompson Greenspon before joining Deleon and Stang. 

John loves working with business and individuals to navigate their taxes as well as strategy into future.  Helping them achieve their business and individual goals is what drives him.  Being proactive, rather than reactive is a common theme.  He looks to be the clients trusted advisor, someone a client or friend can count on to help them navigate any situation they may come across, whether it involves taxes or not.  John understands that when someone reaches out to their CPA, they expect a timely response.  To John, being a trusted advisor to every client is the most important part of being a CPA. 

One of his passions is referring client’s business.  As a client, John is always looking to pass business onto his clients.  He loves connecting people to solve problems that are outside of the CPA relationship.  John puts a high value on teamwork.  Being the oldest of 5 boys, he understands the benefits of everyone working together to achieve an objective.  Working together with everyone on a client’s team is invaluable. 

Naji and John have worked together on many clients in the past.  He is absolutely thrilled to working with him side by side as partners.  They both share the same vision of what the CPA/client relationship should be. 

Outside of being a CPA, John is a father of two.  Scarlett, 6 and John III, 3, keep him busy when he isn’t working.  John credits his wife, Kasee for his success. Her support is unmatched.  When he is not with his family, John enjoys golfing, watching sports, exercising, and playing rec league softball with his friends.  John brings his competitive mentality to his work and is always striving to do the best he can for every client.
